Under the guidance of Yasmine Sfar and Mehdi Kebaier, t i n j a has become the first Tunisian project of its kind, specializing in artisanal Tunisian furniture and decoration.
With a steadfast commitment to responsible production, whether limited editions or pièces uniques, t i n j a showcases meticulously crafted objects and furniture that honor our heritage and traditional craftsmanship.
This distinctive approach aims to sustain a significant impact on partner artisan communities while cultivating the founders’ creative vision.
T i n j a has successfully extended this unique approach to the rest of the world. We partner with architects, interior designers and selected boutiques to bring inhabited objects into every home.

Yasmine

Yasmine Sfar was born in Tunis, Tunisia, in 1984. In 2008, she graduated in interior design from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Until the end of 2011, she took part in a number of prestigious architectural projects and developed furniture for them.
In 2012, the effervescence of the  postrevolution  period in Tunisia prompted her to move to Tunis. She took over t i n j a, the family business, pursuing the ambitious project of revitalising Tunisian craftsmanship and offering a collection of contemporary objects handmade by local artisans.
Today, the brand has established itself as a key player in the sector, pioneering a movement to reinvent the art of living «à la tunisienne». Her creations are rapidly being showcased around the world.

Mehdi

Mehdi Kebaier is born in 1988 in Bizerte, Tunisia.
He   graduated   in civil   engineering from  the Université de Bretagne Sud (UBS) in Lorient, France, in 2012. From 2012 to 2018, he led teams on large-scale construction projects in Paris for a world-leading company.
After three successfully completed megaprojects, Mehdi felt the need to return to his home country to be closer to his partner and family, but also to embark on a new entrepreneurial adventure.
It  was  on  this  return  that   Mehdi  had  the opportunity to get  involved with t i n j a. Together with Yasmine, he has discovered a new passion for design and artisanal production techniques.
